Her years of disappointment with the healthcare system led her to seek a more natural holistic way to help her clients manage their pain and symptoms. After receiving an acupuncture treatment for hip pain, she became fascinated with the mystery of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). When she realized that TCM, was not barbaric, but rather a very sophisticated systematic medicine that has been in existence for thousands of years and which takes in to consideration the entire well being of the client, she was hooked. It's hard to to spend single minute with Robin without sensing her deep compassion for her clients' wellbeing and the enthusiasm she has for helping others on their path to achieve and maintain optimal health and happiness. Sandra Katala LMT/BCTMB owns and operates Playground for the Soul LLC (www.PlaygroundForTheSoul.net). Sandra has been a student of the healing arts for nearly 25 years. She is Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Sandra is a certified Sound Healing Practitioner. Her training in sound covers a wide spectrum, including: Intuitive Dance, Frame Drum, West African percussion, Drum Healing, Piano, Tuning Fork Therapy, Crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, Gong, Authentic Voicework and Healing with the Voice. Sandra is also a Therapeutic Art facilitator, certified in Reiki, IET and Therapeutic Touch. She offers outcome-based therapy through Massage, Sound Healing, Art and movement. Sandra's journey into massage has taken her to premier vacation destinations at luxurious spas in California and Nevada, settling in Florida in 2011. In 2018, she joined forces with Dr. Robin Roarke, Acupuncture Physician, and Holistic Healing Arts was born. Sandra and Dr. Robin are dedicated to helping their clients achieve optimal health and balance of mind, body, and spirit. |
